Frequently asked questions

Is this project audited by a reputable organization?

No! Even though our code is public, and Unlicensed, we hold no stamps of approval from reputable third party auditors, therefore interact with the Dapp at your own risk.

What do I need to play?

You need:
1. A wallet such as Metamask installed in your web browser
2. xDai (a token pegged to Dai in Gnosis Chain). You can bridge from Dai in Ethereum Mainnet, or purchase in a DEX such as Honeyswap.

Can I use the product in mobile phones?

No. We didn’t have enough time, and per our research users use mostly desktop to interact with Dapps.

Why is the product only in English?

We were aiming to launch in English/Spanish, but we were running short on time, maybe for 2026...

I need help creating/joining a tournament, can someone help?

Who determines the results of WorldCup games?

We are leveraging reality.eth protocol as a first layer of truth, with a Kleros arbitraging backup instance in case consensus cannot be acheived within reality.eth. Both protocol have already been used in gambling dapps successfully.

How much do we charge for using the dapp/protocol/platform?

0%. We are not looking to generate revenue with this Dapp, no we will build gambling products, nor we want to be in risk of being perceived as being builders in that space.

Why did you build the product if you don’t plan to earn money on it?

We wanted to build a web3 Dapp that could serve as a fun excuse to onboard “normies” to using their first wallet, and interacting with a Dapp.

Do you think gambling is a good gateway to Crypto and it’s values?

Not really, but given this specific type of gambling is mostly a social experience, and a once every 4 years kind of activity, we believe it has a net positive impact.

Why do you limit buy-ins to 10 xDai?

As this Dapp was put together in only a couple of weeks without proper auditors, we want to limit user’s exposure to the protocol. Anything above 10 xDai is Degen territory and beyond our intentions for this Dapp.

How are points calculated?

Group Stage:
-You get 2 points for guessing the right winner/tie.
-You get 1 point for guessing each specific team’s amount of goals scored (keep in mind you can get still get this point while missing the winner/tie).
Top Four:
-You get 15 points for guessing each individual top four finished in the right position.

Where does “prode” mean?

Prode is shorthand for Sports Forecast (“pronósticos deportivos”) in spanish. The term was mostly popularized in Argentina through a gambling product launched in the 70s by Lotería Nacional.

What are the single points of failure in the Dapp?

Excluding the obvious (our own smart contracts risk), we are exposed to:
-xDai deppeging from Dai
-Dai deppeging from USD
-Reality.eth protocol vulnerabilities
-Kleros protocol vulnerabilies
-Gnosis Chain vulnerability

Are hidden tournaments fully private?

Not really. A sophisticated person could interact with your hidden tournament at the protocol layer and insert a betting slip in your private tournament. To prevent this issue, creators of tournaments can kick participants before November 20.
